Manchester Jr-Sr High School

The Manchester Volleyball team travelled to county and TRC opponent Northfield on Tuesday night. The Squires avenged an earlier season loss to the Norse with a 3 set sweep with scores of 25-19, 25-20, and 25-22. Izzy Renz paced a balanced hitting attacking with 12 kills on the night. Sophomores Ella Peden and Lacy Trump each finished with 8 kills on good efficiency. Ava Felgar had 6 kills to go along with a team high 2 blocks. Mya Metzger, Peyton Ream, and Sophie Cumberland each also contributed multiple kills. The scrappy back row defense was led by Hadley West with 21 digs. Marysa Stroud and Izzy Renz both picked up 11 digs, while Myla Crozier and Peyton Ream had 9 each. Peyton Ream returned to the lineup and picked up a team high 16 assists, followed closely by Sophie Cumberland with 15. The JV team fell to Northfield tonight in 2 sets (22-25, 23-25).
