Manchester Jr-Sr High School

It was a special night as the Manchester girls soccer program honored 9 very special young women tonight at halftime. On top of celebrating these individuals, Manchester picked up the conference win against Rochester 1-0. It was a tough night for the Lady Squires on the offensive end, but they played hard and possessed the ball the majority of the game. Elin Betten and Allie Egolf battled in the midfield all night long, possessing the ball well. Ava Sautter, Olivia Stevens, Raimi Vawter, Joanna Eberly, Ely Mobley, and Maggie Onderko-White, all had fantastic shots on goal throughout the evening. Joanna Eberly found the net in the second half on a pass from Elin Betten, which turned out to be the only goal of the game for either team. Chase Blevins, Ane Hasund, Maggie Onderko-White, Olivia Stevens, and Brooklynn Grimes worked hard to keep the Lady Zebras scoreless. The ladies will play another conference match up on Wednesday at Maconaquah.
