The Squires varsity volleyball team defeated conference opponent Rochester in 3 sets by scores of 25-10, 25-6, 25-14. Izzy Renz led the Squire attack with 10 kills, followed closely behind by Lacy Trump with 9. Mya Metzger with 4 kills, Ava Felgar and Ella Peden with 3 each, and Kaylin Johnson with 2 rounded out an efficient hitting night for the team. Ava Felgar had 4 blocks on the night while Mya Metzger and Ella Peden each had 2. Hadley West (14 digs) and Myla Crozier (12 digs) spearheaded a scrappy defensive effort. The Squires serving was huge tonight with the team totaling 14 total aces including 7 from Izzy Renz and 5 from Myla Crozier. Sophie Cumberland orchestrated the offense totaling 22 assists. The Squires will be back in action on Thursday night for another home conference match against Lewis Cass.
