The Lady Squires fell short in the JV championship game against Southwood 39-40. They started off strong in the first quarter, but then dropped their intensity during the second quarter which led to a 10 point deficit at halftime. The ladies fought back and tied the game up in the fourth quarter. Southwood got the small lead again at the end of the game, but Rachel Eberly hit 2 big free throws to make it a one point game with 6 seconds left. The Lady Squires were able to get a shot up at the end of the game for a chance to win, but it was blocked by the Southwood defense.
