The Lady Squires fell in the first round of county tourney 54-72 against Southwood. The Lady Squires kept the lead early in the game almost the entire first half. Some foul trouble gave the Lady Knights some momentum going into halftime. In the second half, Southwood hit 7 three-pointers that were too much for the Lady Squires to combat. They closed the gap at times, but didn't knock down the shots down the stretch to finish the game. They will play in the consolation game tomorrow at 3p.
