Manchester Jr-Sr High School

The Manchester swim teams split with Tippecanoe Valley on Wednesday night. The boys team beat the visiting Vikings 84-35 led by a pair of individual first place finishes by Jet Thomas. Thomas was victorious in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. Other individual event winners for the Squire boys were Evan Bennett (100 butterfly) and Eli Garcia (500 freestyle). The Squires also took first in the 200 medley relay (Garcia, Kai Elliott, Gabe Selleck, Andrew Cardenes) and the 400 freestyle relay (Marcus Harlan, Selleck, Garcia, Thomas) The Squire girls fell by a score of 112-38. Sophie Cumberland led the Squires with victories in the 200 IM and 100 backstroke. The Manchester swim teams are back in action on Tuesday, December 23rd when they’ll host Huntington North.
