The girls swim team fell to Rochester 59-93. Sophie Cumberland led the way with a pair of individual victories, winning the 200 IM and 500 freestyle. Kelzei Fox won the 100 butterfly and Maggie Akins took first in the 100 breaststroke. The Manchester 200 medley relay team of Cumberland, Akins, Jana Boladeres, and Laynen DeLaughter took first place as well. The boys swim team won 8 of 11 events to top Rochester 74-59. Gabe Selleck was a double winner, taking first place in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Evan Bennett took first in the 100 butterfly, Eli Garcia was first in the 100 freestyle, and Jet Thomas took first in the 100 breaststroke. The Squires swept all three relay events. Bennett, Thomas, Selleck, and Kai Elliott won the 200 medley relay, Elliott, Marcus Harlan, Andrew Cardenes, and Garcia teamed up to win the 200 freestyle relay, and Bennett, Elliott, Selleck, and Thomas finished the meet with a victory in the 400 freestyle relay. The Squires are back in action on Monday when they travel to Elwood to take on the Panthers.
